You're right I was finding it difficult to find a word to replace dumb. People take religious cynicism too seriously - this was meant to be a light hearted piece of humor. I blame the reddit religion wars. (/r/atheism x every1else.)

The logic goes as such: If God exists and created us and our life in this mortal world is a test what would he test for? Given he created everything we know - he's a smart guy. If that is the case then would he reward the ones who seek religion as an answer only to accept it without thoroughly testing it for implausibilities. Essentially there is no way we can know for sure as we have limited knowledge and time - so would he reward the one who decides he can't possibly know and instead spends his life trying to find out - or the one who gives up and says there is no god or take your pick of any other religions. Any way the same logic goes to say that we can't know if our relative standard of intelligence is the same as the all-knowing God; but its worth thinking about. I hope this wasn't too preachy - I'm just trying to illustrate some of my thoughts.
