Is anybody else the complete opposite in Skyrim? When I play I carry one set of armor, a bow, arrows, a melee weapon, and some potions. Clutter gets immediately sold or discarded.

Sort of. I keep 4 of the best kinds of arrows, in case I ever need to use 600 arrows at once in a dungeon, and then I keep the daedric rewards and unique armor sets in a dresser at home. But yeah, I only carry essential potions, one set of armor, and all the rest you said.

I didn't start buying or keeping every arrow I saw until one fateful encounter with a dragon.

Firing happily away while the guards went batshit over a giant beast eating half of them, I wondered why I suddenly could no longer draw another arrow. Behold, I had run out. So I had to try and kill the damn thing with ice spikes. Only managed it just after the last guard got tossed like a ragdoll and decided I was its next meal.

Yup. 1000 Iron arrows and zero fucks given.

Yes. Though if I get lazy and have too much stuff to sell, if I can't do it in a single day in a single town, then I throw it in a trunk to be sold later.

I don't specifically know the answer with respect to Skyrim, but I'd imagine so given that mod-friendliness has kind of been Bethesda's 'thing' in the last decade or so.

It wouldn't be the first Steam game to not disable achievements when mods are present; Warband not only doesn't disable achievements, but gives you one for playing a mod.

Whenever I kill a civilian, I use soul trap. Then I enchant their shows using their soul. I have a bedroom full of shoes with people's souls trapped in them. Forever.

They have models within the game, so you'd just have to type whatever console command it is to spawn them. Would lag your computer like a bitch though, 10,000 objects being rendered at once...

I am drawn to do perverse things in games like Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3.

The worst of which was when I was playing FO3 and went to Lamplight, decapitated all the children, put the heads on a bed and then slept in the bed for 48 hours.

Because they're annoying and in an open world game, there should be no protected NPCs. Ever.

I know we're talking about FO3, but this is true of Skyrim as well. I can't stand the Jarl's kid in Whiterun... "Oh look, another wanderer come to lick my father's boots. Good job."

Yeah. I upgraded my Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary to have the torture chamber. So I go to check it out when of course my girlfriend walks in.

"Why is that old lady shackled up naked and why are you shooting her in the kneecaps"

Well I already had the location of the treasure so I was just enjoying the full Dark Brotherhood experience. For the next 15 minutes she kept saying "Oh that's sick. That's just wrong. Why are you still doing that? What are you doing with those bodies? You're just sick" etc etc.

Meanwhile I'm thinking "Wow I can do this? I can't believe I can do that, that's pretty fucked up Bethesda, and old woman really? That's gutsy Bethesda. You're sick." I love it though.

I'm hoarding in a slightly less silly way. filling up a few buckets with jewellry, baskets full off veg, stacks of books, kettles with weapons and stacks of ingots. Rather than just filling the room with junk.

I "collect" certain things, but they are all meticulously stored away in their appropriate container, whilst the pretty objects are placed for show around the house. I had to move out of the manor in Solitude because it doesnt contain nearly enough separate containers for all of the things I own.

I also have some kettles going that store certain things, like my kettle o' gems, kettle o' skooma, skull kettles and so on.
