Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports).

"Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

I spent until level 25 in white run, doing NOTHING!!!!! and i kept leaving to reddit and saying I know r/skyrim will inspire me to play some part of the game and do something ,ooo.. this looks good, back to skyrim then NOTHING!!!!!!!! and back again I met the grey beards at lvl 35, and having done not 1 mission or story

Yeah, and they sometimes go through people too! (decapitation) My first character was a sword/board warrior, but I'm currently playing a backstab+bow stealthy rogue. My favorite killcam has to be two daggers in the chest lifting someone up as you stare them in the eyes.

I've already invested 2 points in Bone Breaker. Not to mention that i have wasted points into Lockpicking (1), Speech(1), and Alchemy (2 points). But i still play most of the time as my main character. He's lvl40 by now, and i can't simply ditch all that i achieved with him.

My build is one-handed mace wielding with serious magic firepower on the other hand badass motherfucker encased in fine-tuned and meticulously enchanted heavy armor. I need no other potions than MP and HP ones.

Lockpicking you can get perk to stop lockpicks ever breaking. Y'know like a skeleton key.

But yeah you're right I mean why would you want to open locks?

it's not like this is oblivion in which lockpicks were rare as shit. You can find dozens of lockpicks just visiting any bandit hideout or literally get them by the hundreds in the thief's guild.

And it's not like the lockpicking minigame isn't easy enough to be picking master level picks with a 20 or lower skill level.

Seriously the lockpick tree is useless.

Anyway I found oblivion lockpicking to be far easier. And to be fair, you probably have the difficultly dialled down to 0. So that would effect it. I have picked expert locks and they are hard, they break the pick super fast, and then reset the unlock position. I expect you just got lucky. I hope you end up putting all your points in lockpick when you realise what a mistake you made MWA HAR HARRRRRRRR

=/= means "does not equal". It's basically = with a slash inbetween. And since I don't know the alt code for that symbol, I just made a "wonkay" version with two = and a /

Edit: Did a quick google search, here's a copypaste of that symbol: ≠

What I meant is: It's ok if you disagree with me, just don't downvote me because you do so, it's basicaly like saying "shut up nerd I am right and you are not".

Regarding the lockpick tree... yes, picks break fast and whatever... but I stand my opinion, the lockpicking minigame is easy as fuck, and well, you can just quickload in case you break all your picks. I try to not do so since it kind of defeats the purpose of the game, but I'm not going to spend points on a skill that I know I can be efficiently performing without the extra help while those smithing alchemy and enchanting skills get untouched.

You do realize that you don't stop leveling at lvl 50, right?

I'm currently lvl 54 on my character, and I also have a few "wasted" perks, but that doesn't matter much when you can just keep leveling and get the perks you want.
