People think a world without war is not possible. That is what is wrong with the world.

I define myself with me, not what others stand for, dont know how you pulled that out of what I wrote. If I did, by all means, please point it out to me.

The way you refrenced my conformity line makes no sense. I am saying that if I dont conform to the general opinion of being pro-America and pro-war then suddenly I am an idiot or I must be a terrorist. But hey, its easy to make someone look stupid when you twist their words.

When I refer to the United States, I am referring to the image we have in the world due to what we have done in the past and in the present. If we dont like something, we use force to change it. Look at OWS, we're using force to suppress the voices of our own people! I mean really, its almost like a stereotypical movie where a tyrannical government suppresses its people and then the people revolt and show everyone how oblivious they were to the tyranny. I really cant lay it out any more simpler than that.

If you cannot see the tyranny, greed, and irresponsibility of this government, if you cannot see that this war is being fought for nothing...well, I just feel bad for you. I support the fortitude of the soldiers themselves, but I dont support what they are fighting for. I dont even know what we're fighting this war for anymore. So its a Catch-62 in some respects. It just makes me incredibly angry that all of these lives have to be lost, families have to be heartbroken, and this kid, for instance, will never enjoy life like he used to. My family has been in the military for generations, I've seen/heard enough, had to deal with plenty of deaths. And when you step back and take a look at the big picture, which so many of you fail to do, you would see that it is all very, very pointless. You come to a certain peace with yourself when you realize there is no reason to take sides or really to even worry about it.

The bottom line is that war is not the answer. War will get us nowhere. Yet, we're spending god knows how much to fund it while in the meantime our country's poverty and unemployment levels continue to rise. The average education of a citizen is declining. Yet somehow, we have all these extra billions of dollars to fund a war. So you have to ask yourself whats more important, killing people over politics and greed, or rebuilding our nation so our citizens, our country, can thrive. And then you realize, that the government of this country doesnt give half a fuck about you. You realize you have to become an independent and form your own morals and decide what you want to make of the world, not just play follow the leader.
