Although I am concerned about the growing racism on Reddit, I must admit that humor is humor and jokes like this are mostly harmless. Humor is art, and shouldn't be affected by political correctness. Blatant racism like the comments to worldstarhiphop videos, comments like "Of course they are niggers. That whole race is a violence-oriented barbaric shitstain of a culture" - these are something we should worry about, because it shows pure ignorance to a subject, an ignorance combined with malicious feelings.

We can make jokes about ourselves as white nerds with no social lives as well and have a good time laughing about it. We would laugh if someone else made the same jokes. But wouldn't we be offended if someone had an actual misunderstanding about white people and would label all white people as a parasite of society?

There's a line between humor (with no direct intent to hurt anybody) and expressing one's opinion (which is derived from insufficient information and is hateful, destructive).
