There are always witty comments, but not for this picture, no.

Imagine if this guy didn't own that fish. Instead, imagine he was hired by a rich man for this purpose alone. It makes this way funnier.

[–]bigkuhr 33 points34 points ago

sorry, this has been archived and can no longer be voted on

Or what if.. the fish hired the man to take him out of the house?

[–]only_temporary 48 points49 points ago

Fish can't hire people... They have no access to fiat currency. Unless it's a gold fish?

What about Alfa Romeo or Ferrari currency?

Sounds like my situation. I own a Scottish terrier that technically pays me to take care of it. God damn dog has over $100,000. I'm not joking either.

I Inherited two rare breads of Scottish Terrier (a White one and a Wheaton colored) from my great grandmother. She loved those dogs because after her husband died In the Pep-Con explosion here in vegas, a series of scotish Terriers she bought over the years were all that kept her company in her now large and lonely house. They cheered her up and they were her world so to speak. When she started getting sicker and sicker she wanted to make sure they were taken care of if she passed on or was unable to take care of them any longer, and since I've loved playing with the dogs since I was a little kid, she left them with me and enough money to take care of them for the rest of their lives. The money is also set up so I am given $210 a week from their fund as payment for taking care of the dogs. The rest of the money is monitored so that that ALL expenses excluding my pay are for the dogs. Unfortunately the White one passed away a couple months ago and I take care of just Bailey. Picture of The Dogs TLDR; I'm employed by a dog.

So what happens to the money when Bailey dies? I mean, there's definitely a chance of a lump sum of money still being there, right?

[–]Ph0ton 6 points7 points ago

sorry, this has been archived and can no longer be voted on

Probably would be donated to a shelter. I believe I heard of a similar story about dogs getting inheritance and that is what happened. Not usually a good idea to encourage the untimely death of an animal you love, hmmm?

[–]Bluelegs 5 points6 points ago

sorry, this has been archived and can no longer be voted on

You never know what sick bastard will forge the will of a dog then murder it in all its rich helplessness.

[–]Zophory 4 points5 points ago

sorry, this has been archived and can no longer be voted on

I actually think it gets donated to some animal shelters around vegas. All I know is I don't get it so I'm gonna make sure bailey gets a badass life.

They are really cute. Is the one you have left a friendly dog or is it spoiled?

[–]Zophory 7 points8 points ago

sorry, this has been archived and can no longer be voted on

Well neither dog was really spoiled, I knew both dogs since they were puppies and every time they saw me they knew it was play time. The one left doesn't play as much, but hes a very sweet dog and a bit of a badass. I've nicknamed him the scorpion king because I occasionally get scorpions in the house and he finds and obliterates them. Woke up one night to see him pounce into the air, and bring down one paw on the body and one on the tail of a scorpion, then rip the tale off with his mouth and swat the body away. The thing ran under a dresser and he guarded it untill I removed it. Hes killed 37 scorpions, 6 gophers and 2 squirrels that I know of in the past 2 years. Just doing what comes natural to scottys I guess. TL;DR: He not spoiled, he's just a mini badass

Uh, just so you know, white and wheaton scotties aren't a different breed, just a different color (and not especially rare, either, just not preferred).

[–]Zophory 1 point2 points ago

sorry, this has been archived and can no longer be voted on

I didn't mean breed, that was me wording it poorly, but as for the Wheaton coloring it IS rare to find them in that color, more so then the white.

[–]TKDgirl 1 point2 points ago

There was a French cartoon from the 80's where an old man adopted a fish and slowly made it get used to being on land, he'd walk it with a leash. Eventually, the fish drowned when it fell into water.

I wish I knew the title or could find it on video!
