The picture was taken at a resolution that made it very difficult to determine what the script the words were written in. Nevertheless, I took some time to ZOOM ENHANCE ROTATE the picture.

The title is 清の味 (does not make Japanese grammatical sense and rules out Japan), and then 樂透三明治 (translates to Lotto Sandwich, or Happy Thin Sandwich) on the side.

Being written in the Chinese traditional script, one can infer that the sandwich is either Taiwanese, Hong Kong or the Guangdong region.

Looking "樂透三明治" up on google brings up Taiwanese forums discussing the exact picture. It also costs 10 something, which means the low value of 10 NTD (New Taiwan Dollar) makes the most sense.

I bought a screwdriver made in China, and the screwdriver head stripped itself on the first screw I tried to use it on!!! What happens is that a contract is won, the winner of the bid is probably in a loss position, and so they look for corners and subtitutions they can make to cut costs. When there is no accountability, it seems to be an effective business tactic, so long as your customers are too stupid to adapt based on experience and keep going for minimum cost. The screwdriver had plain steel substituted instead of a strong alloy. It was sold in Canada and when I went back to Totem with the story, it was shrugs all around, oh well, at least it's cheap.

i went to school in ukraine, and for a limited time our cafeteria sold pizza for lunch. this was early-mid nineties, nobody knew what real pizza was supposed to look like, everyone was just excited to be eating "american food", because everything about the usa was balls to the wall awsome, like some cargo cult. anyways we were served a round piece of bread with a single slice of tomato in the middle and maybe a teaspoon of sauce, and a tiny piece of sausage or something like that.
