I think that God is more often an excuse than a true reason for behavior. I sincerely hope that she didn't sacrifice a good relationship for the sake of a myth, but I doubt it was really a good relationship.

agree. i think she is just not sure of anything in her own life and rather than feel guilty about breaking up with some nice guy for no reason she is using god as an excuse. unfortunately her next step is to probably sleep with a hot douchebag and then cry that she let god down. . . . but i dont know her so its all speculation

Who knows if he was nice? For all we know, he treated her horribly, but she was in denial of that fact, so religion was her excuse to get out of a terrible relationship.

I'm not completely sure, I don't know the girl very well at all, but I believe that the relationship was going just fine. The guy who she was dating was very dedicated and very nice, and they still talk on the facebook.

I think she's a moron who will be sobbing to god after a good hard fuck one day, instead of just feeling happy and heading home to watch a movie or something. She is deluded, if she dumped you friend, I am sorry but she's done you quite a favor. She's deluded, and quite likely full of it.

Well I'm glad that s/he recognized that s/he didn't have time for a boyfriend. It's better that s/he dumped him now rather than later. But it's definitely shitty that she feels that she has to put her relationship with an imaginary being above her relationship with a real person.
