A lot of it has to do with the overall group of gamers that enjoys the Elder Scrolls. I'm personally waiting till the price goes down to try it. In the meantime I have some great games to play already so its all good.

It is the fact that every Elder scrolls game starting at Arena have all been smash hits... And that most of the fans have been around from AT LEAST Morrowind (myself). Bethesda has never disappointed me before, I do not think they will start now.

Simply put, I've been playing the elder scrolls since 1991 when Arena came out, and fell in love with it then, And I've gotten each subsequent title on launch day, the game is so fun that I put at least 200 hours into each title which is well worth the money. This time I bought a new TV, 55" LED 3d TV that does 2d to 3d conversion so I can play it in 3d on a big ass screen. And I have a wife and kids, so MMORPG's are out of the question.
