Occupy the Atom (imgur.com)

Well an electron is around 1/2000 of the mass of a proton, so no.
[–][deleted] 46 points47 points48 points 10 months ago
Are you positive?
[–]TitusUMMS 13 points14 points15 points 10 months ago
Oh shit son.
[–]contextsdontmatter 1 point2 points3 points 10 months ago
I lost it
[–]SteveIzHxC 5 points6 points7 points 10 months ago
came here to say this, except I was going to say 1/1836 the mass of a proton.
[–]pecamash 19 points20 points21 points 10 months ago
Well of course. They control the means of conduction.
[–]CasedOutside 12 points13 points14 points 10 months ago
The electrons are simply charging us too much for the services we need!
[–]pecamash -3 points-2 points-1 points 10 months ago
What they're doing is a crime. They're downright kleptonmaniacs.
[–]AAHAAHAHAHHTenebraeOmega 24 points25 points26 points 10 months ago
Electrons are like .0000001% of the mass...
[–]EmperorXenu 5 points6 points7 points 10 months ago
Point proven!
[–]psyonic_wave 3 points4 points5 points 10 months ago
the nucleus is 1% of the volume, but takes 99.999% of the mass. OCCUPY NUCLEUS!!!
[–]Golden_Bender 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
Closer to 0.1%
[–]SillyTralfamadorian 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
its actually roughly 1/1800th or .055% of the mass
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 10 months ago
All I ask is this... Why?
[–]SillyTralfamadorian 1 point2 points3 points 10 months ago
if you are referring to my posting this 7,000,000 times, it was an accident... i actually thought it hadn't posted at all because it told me there was an error.... reddit lies :o
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
Haha, ok that makes sense. The exact same has happened to me before, but I never tried that many times!
Jimmy V once told me to not give up... I don't think he was talking about posting the relative mass of an electron on the internet though...
[–]whatwedo 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
Yeah, but like 99% of the volume!
[–]Kratoyd -1 points0 points1 point 10 months ago
It's more towards .0000000001%, but yeah.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 10 months ago
it's funny, but incorrect, unfortunately.
[–]mdk2all 3 points4 points5 points 10 months ago
physics fail
[–]Waabanang 2 points3 points4 points 10 months ago
They take up most of the volume, so there's that...
[–]alcakd 1 point2 points3 points 10 months ago
Electrons aren't the problem. It's the protons that are meant to keep them in check.
[–]Duecez24 2 points3 points4 points 10 months ago
Slow Clap Well played.
[–]neuro_exo 3 points4 points5 points 10 months ago
all of the mass in less than 1% of the volume!
[–]snelpolak 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
We, the protons and neutrons, demand equal distribution of control of the atom's charge!
...so that the world will abruptly end in a massive sort of electron deficiency...eh, nevermind!
[–]Prof_Moody 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
Furry Potter?
[–]joepanda111 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
Up and atom!
UP AN' A'DOM!
[–]GiraffeHat 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
Occupy the valence shells and hybrid orbitals! Their control over the atom while the ~99.99999% massed nucleus only contribute to momentum and no further dictation on bonding is an atrocity to ion-and-non-ion-kind!
I've grown shamed to look my poor little quarks one magnetic moment too long! Tonight the positrons shall reign a darkened, non-existent hell over the electron ~0.000001%!
[–]Secrete_Persona 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
I got laid tonight, want to smell my finger?
[–]dutch713 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
Atoms are dicks
[–]cjk105 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
You are not using Schrodinger's Cat correctly. You lose.
[–]orangegluon -1 points0 points1 point 10 months ago
And 100% of the reactivity.
Technically, not at all.
[–]originalcuntscabs -1 points0 points1 point 10 months ago
Meow. What is (milk)2?
[–]SpyroTheGhost 0 points1 point2 points 10 months ago
Off milk
[–]la_lutte -1 points0 points1 point 10 months ago
Electrons do not exist. The fact is no one has EVER seen an atom and the orbiting electron bead in physics wouldn't make much sense in chemistry (so they use a different model of the atom).
