Maybe I don't think it's that strange because we do this every year in my hometown. It's called the rubber duckie race. We have this giant rubber duck that they put up in town. Then there are a bunch of tiny little rubber ducks that they drop into the river and when your duck crosses the finish line you can win money and prizes. Our duck might not be as big but I think it looks more horrifying.
