I had a dog that did that, but he died. :(

And no... I didn't shoot him.

Me too. And I always said I am going to videotape his tricks. I taught him a zillion. Well, really, like 10. But I thought he'd be around forever. RIP buddy.

Three years ago and still cried as I wrote this.

This is the only trick my dog knows. I worked so hard to get it to do this that everything else sorta went out the window.

I've been trying to teach my dogs "roll-over" for like a month. They kinda go down and lay on their sides then don't do the actual roll part. My GSD/Lab was a genius through puppy kindergarten. She got everything that day and super-fast. But she can't do roll-over? Weird...

It's a dog thing, don't worry about it.

My dog knows this trick. I him sit, lay, stay, and then this. After lay he caught onto this one pretty quick. I am trying to get it where he want be so tense looking and will actually play dead.

As this is a cropped gif, what you can't see is that on the youtube video source there is another person in the frame with an actual gun who shoots the dog dead.
