I remember thinking I was such a rebellious bad ass when I used to do this in school chapel. There is a strange feeling of power in being the only person with your head up in a room full of people praying.

At every Army event that I'm forced to attend where they give the chaplain a chance to make everyone pray, I glance around and look for other people doing this.
