The way I see it...

Cute/pretty means they are attractive(physically or emotionally) according to your standards

Hot means you want to fuck them

EXAMPLE: You might think your mom is pretty but you probably don't think she is hot.

I am new to Facebook, but with the changes from the other month, doesn't the algorithm take the amount of "likes" into account, and have a higher chance of showing up on people's pages? It seems when something gets more comments and likes, it gets shown more, so can't you like your own stuff to give it sort of a kick-start?
