The warthog had a second of warning and still moved in towards the rhino's meal. If a rhino turns to look straight at you with its head down, you best back off. Also, the Warthog backed away from a previous feint from the Rhino 4 seconds before it got flipped.

Rhino horns are often very shiny and smooth at the ends, which can give the appearance of blood in that quick glance you get of it. Not saying the warthog definitely wasn't impaled, but I wouldn't say he definitely was, either.

If he wasn't, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if the guy was OK after. Warthogs are pretty stout animals; adults have been known to kill lions if forced to defend themselves or their young. That looks like an adolescent, but. Still could very well just have gotten up and shook it off.
