I just think passing such a strong judgment on someone just based on what they are wearing is kind of messed up in itself. Especially if they are only dressing that way one day out of the entire year.

While this is true. Again, the costumes are supposed to be festive. Not like you're going to a playboy playhouse. Its like going to a funeral wearing something you'd wear on Easter. Its ridiculous and demeaning of the event.

I think Halloween has surpassed the whole "Halloween is for scary costumes" era. That would mean people who are dressing up as video game characters, movie characters etc. are demeaning the event also. My point wasn't that what they were wearing was an awesome Halloween costume. My point was that I don't understand the logic behind passing judgment on someone based on one outfit they wear once a year.

If it isn't for sale don't put it in the display case. Even if it is for one day, because a couple people may try to buy it. Also first impressions have a lot to do with it.

Sorry you feel women need to regulate their clothing to be in no way sexual to the opposite sex if they aren't interested. Totally, it is completely sickening. Having debates like these honestly makes me lose hope in all the positive movement women have made to stop being seen as sexual beings and just as people. I always wonder what women are thinking when they dress like they are ready for a night on the pole, but are heading to class. Their choice in attire to attend class tells me they have poor judgement and no situational awareness. These are not good attributes to display for potential employers.
