What about the rest of the Americas? Sorry, but the USA is not America

They have only Japan on there for Eastern Asia; I don't think they are attempting to insult China or South Korea any more than Canada or Brazil. They may lack data, or just did not think those nations' data points were relevant to the point they were trying to make.

I think that the graph is trying to show just how much of an outlier the USA is.

I like it, but I wish there was a good source stamped on it.

If it's credible, I wonder what other metrics are out there like this. Maybe one showing that countries above or below the evolution trendline have annually increasing or decreasing GDP.

Incase anyone is looking for citations:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Level_of_support_for_evolution

http://www.gallup.com/poll/114544/darwin-birthday-believe-evolution.aspx

There's also a citation on the right hand side of the chart

Exchange 'belief' with 'understand' and you get the same graph.

According to this chart, USA has the second lowest level of people who believe in evolution. It also has the second highest income per capita. Take that Christians!

To be fair, that per capita income is dropping like a rock.

It's risen 5.7 percent in the last decade.

Yea, because you have one group throwing off the curve. Otherwise, its been stagnant at best for everyone not in the top 10%.
