I've lived in Massachusetts my whole life and have never seen snow this early, so it is pretty strange, especially since it's supposed to be up to a foot of it. Not saying it's the end of the world, but the surprised reactions are appropriate.

It's funny 'cause I went to college in Houghton, MI where the average snowfall is over 200" a year. That's my reaction when it doesn't snow in October lol.

I agree. My college decided to test out the emergency PA system without telling anyone it was a test and that's how people reacted.
