For the thousands of people who are going to come here to try to figure out why he didn't say "Platypi":

There is no universally agreed plural of "platypus" in the English language. Scientists generally use "platypuses" or simply "platypus". Colloquially, the term "platypi" is also used for the plural, although this is technically incorrect and a form of pseudo-Latin; the correct Greek plural would be "platypodes"

I mean, that's OK. Technically, the OP didn't say it was him, but there are plenty of posts like it where you assume it's the OP, but technically, the post doesn't say it. I suppose the reason it's important is because the post seems more genuine if it is the OP. It's just like having the title "Leia Slave Girl Outfit--Nailed It?". Considering that "stang" is an obsolete past-tense version of "sting," it's very unclear what you're trying to say. Structurally, the word "being" in your sentence only makes sense as a verb, not a noun, unless your entire sentence just doesn't make sense. I'm leaning towards the latter, since "iirc" is not a word, and you wrote "an single," which also doesn't make sense.

But I guess grammar and spelling are tough to figure out, hm?
