For all those looking for context, this girl's younger brother committed suicide because of bullying. At a school dance a few weeks later, she was 'trolled' by the same bullies responsible for his death, who kept telling her "We're glad he's dead" and other absolutely horrible things. I remember seeing this episode with my mom recently, trying to find a link now.

Really though, I want to know if they are using the word "troll" the correct way.

I'm getting sick of seeing people new to the internet trying to shove every internet term into their sentences and using every one of them incorrectly. Someone simply disagreeing with you does not constitute trolling; unless they are doing it solely to get an emotional response from you.

I...I too was trolled. I am crying as I type this. Here is my story...

Actually, I can't talk about it...I tried but my fingers just couldn't mash the story out. All I can tell you is that I am, in fact, not a "nigger" nor a "faggot" and I am sorry that you do not approve of me "camping" or the multiple headshots I got on you. However, your words were hurtful and I am sorry I offended you by besting you in that video game. The good thing is that I have spent a lot of time in counseling and in the end I am stronger for coming to the understanding that I'm good enough. I'm smart enough. And doggone it, people like me.

It has taken me years now but I am making positive steps towards recovery.
