Know why it's hitting the front page so much? Because unthinking morons come around and post ten billion bitch posts and drive our activity stats through the roof.

The trolls are making us more popular, not less.

My account is not subscribed, but /r/atheism is on the default front page that viewers without accounts see. I just think a lot of new people who come to the community without accounts will see the circle jerk on the front page and be discouraged to visit the site again. It's hard to say if that's a good or bad thing. My opinion is neutral on the subject.

If only it was like beating a dead Sarah Jessica Parker, however we represent a very small portion of society, and in any other forum we would be a vast minority. I think we should continue to fight the good fight because if we stopped, well, we will never get anywhere.
