Babes in Toyland! with Laurel and Hardy. One of my favorite movies.

I think it was rereleased under that title, cause that's what I know it as too (March of the Wooden Soldiers).

TIL that it was originally released as 'Babes in Toyland' but the version we grew up with was the rereleased version from the fifties which chopped off ~6 minutes and was renamed 'March of the Wooden Soldiers' (source)) Apparently they then went and restored the missing footage but kept the newer title (source).

Drunk at home on a friday night while researching 30's film trivia is no way to go through life...

I've always known it as "Babes..." due to reruns on TV on Thanksgiving (NY) - but yeah those titles were interchangeable in my house. I'm 27 now, but I remember watching it every year from 4 to 10 years old about.
