Stop listening to radio stations. They suck.

I like Adele. I just don't like how, literally, all but one song is about either her being in love or being sad about a failed relationship. I don't know what's worse- listening to people sing about "gettin' crunk in da club," or listening to people complain about their failed relationships all the time...

Nothing against Adele, though. Girl's got a stellar voice.

No denying that. That girl has insane talent. In fact I don't blame her at all, she makes good music. I blame the media for killing her music.

Bob Dylan said that her version of "Make you feel my love" is the only version beside his own that he liked.

"Worse" would be P!nk. She does both and is successful.

I like Adele but I don't listen to the radio so I'm sure that helps.

AGREE. It will sometimes happen that I will notice that 2 songs are playing on the same radio station at the same time. Once with Rollin' in the Deep and once with Someone Like You I found 3 separate radio stations playing the song at the same time. THREE. I don't want to hate Adele. The radio is forcing me to.

You go and find another artist that the radio plays more a single song per album of. I dare you.

Hell, even U2 who has has a dozen wildly successful albums in 30 years only gets played Vertigo and Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking for with the occasional With or Without You and Beautiful Day. That's four of the hundreds of grade A songs they have made.

There are shittons of artists out there. Radio stations can't play everything of all of them so for time and money's sake they only usually play the most popular songs. So if you're going to bitch about it, don't listen to the radio.

All your examples are epitomic shitty pop music and just proves my point. Radio stations play the music that is popular more than other because it would, statistically, get them to be listened to more. Kesha (I fucking refuse to spell it "correctly"), Black Eyed Peas, Lil Wayne, all those shit artists that are inexplicable popular and hence get played more than some of the more obscure artists like Adele. They play the "best" (imo there are better, but it's best according to the public) of Adele then they play more of the others because they are more popular songs, but for the record that doesn't make them better.

I start imagining the Jamie XX remix in my head, I find it quite helpful.
