I am an Indian and I can attest that this is an everyday occurence here. Not all horses are good at this though, though most can do the belly-slide with sufficient training (done in grassy meadows). A thick leather sheet that extends on both sides prevent any unnecessary harm while sliding on hard tarmac.

As an equestrian specialist, I can confirm this actually happened. The horse, 'Henry' was 7 when this was filmed and had undergone training since he was just 2 which is when he reached full maturity. Horse sliding is a favourite Indian past time, especially in the south.

this is highly inaccurate as you see, the gif is of the uncensored version of this film, in the actual theatrical version, that is not a horse it is a cow. As some of you may know, Indians worship cows as their gods because they are far more superior than horses. Cows have been used in previous Indian warfare such as the battle for third world middle earth and their independence. The cow is a gentle yet stern creature that produces milk for all and produces death for some with a single glance, hence mad cow disease. FYP OP
