I'm not sure about having seen all the people in your dreams. If your mind can create new environments and scenarios in your dreams then who's to say some of the people populating them aren't creations as well?

In undergrad I took a class on the psychology of sleep, and my professor was a sleep and dream researcher. He said that your brain is unlikely to be able to create a face from a vacuum, but since pretty much everyone's brain has a specialization in faces (since we see so many of them) and an area is used in face recognition (fusiform gyrus), we can probably say with some certainty that the brain can take parts from faces it has seen and make a new face out of the various parts. It does that with other things too in dreams, why not faces?

This one part of the image blew my mind, i mean, there are no sources but still that is scary as fuck.

And it's probably not true.

I remember having read this somewhere else, basically your brain just cannot invent a face, and every face you see in your dream, you would have seen it previously (even the random stranger you barely catch a glimpse on while getting off the bus).

The person who made this is a massive idiot.

Repost, and it's still blatantly wrong on several counts.

The first one, many neurons invariably die, and virtually all memories decay as a result of this. It's simply not in our bioogy to "remember everything", not until neurons become immortal. My guess is the author of this was into pop psychology.

I'll admit I caught the next one because of an episode of house, but you are not a completely new person every seven years. The AVERAGE cell is recycled that fast, but some cells, like neurons, stick around for much longer.

The "body reacts at 170 mph" doesn't really make any sense. Reactions should be measured as acceleration, perhaps it means mph/s? Does it mean a specific reflex, and obtain "MPH" by calculating distance reflex made you move by time?

To hair being virtually indestructable, that doesn't really make any sense either. Any "piece" of hair could be easily destroyed. If you mean at the molecular bonding level, then the same could be said of a lot of things, and plastic would be several orders of magnitude more indestructable.

I got through the first one about your brain, it's completely untrue unless your brain is broken. Then I stopped, then I downvoted.
