It is written in python 2.7.

First, I made an image hashing algorithm. This post was very helpful.

Next, I learned reddit's API. I wrote a scraper that grabs the top 1,000 images from the top 15 subreddits. It hashed these images and put them into a database where each image had the hash, URL, title, author, date, score, etc.

Lastly, I wrote another script to scan /new of those subreddits and get image hahes of posts. The script compares these hashes against the database and post comments when they match.
