I can tell you that it isn't what a lot of atheists on here think it is, for all of the hemming and hawing about how enlightened r/atheism is.
Atheism is a lack of belief in god. That's it. It's not a philosophical system. There are, however, philosophical systems and beliefs within atheism, like Jainism, methodological naturalism, some Buddhism, theological non-cognitivism, some variants of Thelema, etc.
Most posters on r/atheism aren't just atheists. They actually subscribe to a philosophical system within atheism, and have decided to label it "Atheism," because their mission is to chap literally everyone's ass.
You're being sarcastic, and yet, everything you said sarcastically is true. It is religion in itself. You don't put a bandage over the problem and declare it fixed.

As websnarf said, when your initial claim is just "x is true" without anything to back it up, then a simple "no" is more than sufficient to reject it. You can't just make any baseless claim and then expect others to disprove it. That what religious people tend to do.
That said, if you want an explanation of why it's completely wrong, I'll be happy to provide. OP was claiming that the "perfect atheist" does x, y and z, only one of which were not believing in a god. Perfection in this context is meaningless, but OP later in the thread explained that he was going by adherence to the dictionary definition of atheist. The dictionary definition of atheist is someone who does not believe in any gods, hence a "perfect atheist" by this definition would simply be someone who does not believe in any gods. That's it. The rest is unrelated and his claim is factually and utterly wrong.
First line's good enough. You could have stopped there.

This is an extremely random and irrelevant comment, I will reply to it regardless: I do agree that it is pretty irrational to believe in a "magic sky man" however, I'm pretty sure that's not what you meant. There is one word that explains perfectly what could make a man sacrifice his one and only life in order to kill many others, and that word is "religion". It's pretty crazy to expect you will receive a reward after you're dead, unless you are religious. It's pretty crazy to think that killing innocent people and yourself could be a good thing, unless you are religious. It's pretty crazy to think you're better off than someone else based on differences in your belief systems (i.e. Muslim v Christian) when both are founded solely upon faith due to an utter lack of evidence, unless you are religious.

I think its cute when christians try to philosophize. They always end up relying on assumptions they were told by some preacher somewhere, absolutely have no basis in rationality and if you mention evidence they quickly jump on the "faith" banner. To any of us, there has never been a good argument for a rational basis for "god/s" but to many believers there have admittedly been good arguments against the existence of "god/s". I think there is a reason for that and you should probably look up why that is.
