I'm not a fan, but Andrew W.K. clearly recorded one of the best concept albums of all-time. It's just that, instead of choosing some far out sci-fi or dense historical theme, his concept was "I like to party, and if I may be so bold, I would like to suggest that you should try partying, as well". And, to his credit, he recorded the definitive statement on that subject.

Fact: I was once very sick (with the flu I think) but had to drive into school to take a test. I felt like crap, but got up, hopped in my car and started on my way. I decided I should turn up some music to make sure I was paying attention and not dosing off. I blasted "I Get Wet" by Andrew W.K. the whole way to school (about the whole CD). By the time I got there, I felt pretty well back to 100%. Thank you Andrew W.K. for your healing musical miracles.

TLDR; Andrew WK cured me of the flu.

he's a pretty damn interesting speaker too. he came to my school one time and did a one man show where he just played on his keyboard and fielded a bunch of questions from the audience. he may seem like he's joking around because all he wants to do is "party" but really he's partying for life and celebrating being alive.
