I'm not doing anything for other animals. I think this is fairly clear from my saying "fuck animals". You haven't made any argument that it's virtuous to do things for the benefit other animals, but you imply that it is so. I say that it's not so because they're way too stupid to appreciate it. Pets can be nice, but do you think they really understand the difference in the quality of life they enjoy because you're sheltering them from the wild? Pets wouldn't resist the vet or ill-tasting medicine if they did.

I don't think I understand why you would ask what I'm doing for the planet in general. I don't think I'm doing anything for the planet "in general", as there are clearly subsets of the things on the planet I don't care about. Are you making the deduction that because I don't care about animals I don't care about anything or anyone but myself? This is fallacious and ad hominem. It's also not the case. I would very much like to one day make the world a better place for people. I just don't care if that benefits animals or not.
