I know you're alluding to the whole "why can't I quit you" thing, but it's a fairly accurate image in another regard- 80% of Reddit is dudes. So it's just dudes lovin' other dudes. Maybe someone could shop a little Tiny Fey and a little Zooey Deschanel onto their shoulders?
