i dont want to blame the kid on the back but since he has an actual spray can i think he was the main cause. i know silly string is flammable also but i think what really made the 'explosion' was the gasses that came out of the can

There are tons of videos with people getting lit up by it. The worst is a bride during a wedding cake thing. But it looks like in every one, the silly string burns off with no damage to the person.

In Argentina, where I am from, there was a big incident with someone badly burned by being covered in it and catching on fire. Some are flammable and a lot.
