Also, the double DVD (purchased on Amazon) had bonus material on Nǃxau's trip to Paris and clips of the 'real' life of the San in modern days.

There was also criticism of the director Jamie Uys (I was introduced to his movies starting with 'Beautiful People') on creating a false impression of happiness in the San tribes. Documented in "Journey to Nyae Nyae" (N!xau's homeland in northeastern Namibia).

Is this fake? There is no way anybody would accept burning hot bullets to hit their face for that long before reacting.

EDIT: I know it isn't the actual bullets I meant shells but I was assuming they are hot (never used a gun before)

First off, it's from a movie so yes it is fake.

2nd, those a shell casings and are not "burning hot bullets" Casings are warm and they'll burn you if they stay pressed up against your skin, but bouncing off you they'd just be annoying, not painful.

Funny you should mention that. It was crammed in as someone's avatar pic on the forum. I did a 'save as' so I could see it in full widescreen glory then uploaded it to imgur. The rest is history!

Yeah, came here to say this. Sam Boga's men were basically Larry Moe and Curly with guns.

Edit: The original is a great movie. I haven't seen the sequel, but it's on netflix instant queue for anyone interested.
