No, it's the side of another billboard, that faces the other direction of the street, but it's turned away from us.

The two billboards are positioned in a V-shape with the two (nearly) touching at the point you encircled. The one we are looking at isn't parallel to the façade of the buildings: the left side is moved forward and the right side moved back. The same with the second billboard (but with the left side back) which is why you only see the edge.

I'm sorry for inadvertently perpetuating art theft. I actually didn't inspect it closely enough to realize it was a photoshop until I read some of the comments.
