I work tech support too. Just had to teach a woman today that you don't need the AOL program to check her mail. And that the internet in AOL is the same one in other programs. Fun.

Heard and understood.

We instituted a policy at my small technical consulting and services firm.

We will not offer fixed fee contracts, quotes, estimates or agreements to clients who use AOL for their business needs. Our statistics over three years show that if we do so, we will lose our shirt.

You just can't estimate stupid.
