Filter/spam/trash, don't unsubscribe. Especially if it's from spam site. Al you're going to do is let them know it's an active email address, at which point they'll sell the info to other sites providing you with more spam.

The worst for me was, I was getting spam from some Japanese site (Gmail autotranslated it for me). I clicked the link to unsubscribe but it was all Japanese. I told the browser to translate it but the buttons were images so they didn't get translated...
