If I remember correctly, the artist just happened to draw it on 9/11 stationary. They didn't do the work in the background and it just happened to be a funny, accidental result Edit: scratch all that. The original is a deviantart picture without the towers. I guess somebody has a sick sense of humor

First I saw a pregnant Sandy walking with Spongebob and was like wtf?? Then noticed that it said 9/11 on the bottom not realizing why, wondering once again, WTF?! Proceeded to send the picture to my friends and look at it once more. Finally noticed the twin towers hanging out in the background. What. The. Fuck.
