Not a mosh pit. That's called a wall of death, and yes, People have actually died in those before.

It's called wall of death... but people died... so they stopped it.

Wtf was it called wall of death for if they didnt know what was going to happen before hand?

Who stopped it? These still happen. Maybe not by whatever band this is, but Sick Of It All was the first and they'll always be the kings. People getting killed never stopped anything in NYHC.

I was at a Testament concert less than a year ago and they started a wall of death. I watched fans haul away unconscious people for the next few minutes.

Reminds me of Rome Total War, I used to get cavalry on both sides of some surfs and smash'um. Yea, watch those numbers drop.

That is a Wall of Death. They used to do those at Lamb of God concerts. But then people died.

They put a stop to it?! The government should subsidize these bands for tidying up the gene pool.

Still do. Not officially organized anymore, but they still give people time to set up and do the "1-2-3" count at the beginning of Black Label. Was at Ram's Head in Baltimore a few years back and we somehow managed to do one in there. Security had to start pulling people out and at one point I was squished so tightly between people I could barely breathe and my feet didn't touch the ground for a good 15-20 seconds.

walls of death are lame. Everybody runs and gets to the middle and stops and then just gets squeezed together and no actual moshing goes on. Learn how to mosh.

I saw the Suicide Machines at Vans Warped Tour back around 2002-2003? and we (the crowd and I) did that. Except they (The Suicide Machines) called it "The Braveheart". I was right in front. It was awesome!

Were you in SF? I was always really curious if they did that at other venues or if we were special.

It's obviously an outdoor concert. Riots aren't that organised.

Slam dancing/Moshing = fun this is just fucking stupid. Hardcore I love it, but I dislike many of the fans, it just got way to broish and macho.

I was actually there for that, Reading 2010. It was like on one of the first days, I was in the crevass of people looking but not joining in on the fight.

I can't believe I'm in a gif. that's amazing.

Turns out I'm pretty fucked, (edit by the way), and that probably isn't reading festival. But for a second I thought it was.

I can't remember what band was playing. If I remember correctly it was either Lamb of God or Killswitch Engage. Either way wall of deaths are fun as hell!
