  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

How about: the pipeline symbolizes sensational media, who take all attempts at intellectual public discourse and divert it from view.

The pipeline represents a pipe. Due to a horrendous misunderstanding on the part of the event's technical staff, a nearby sewer has been routed into an opening about half-way along the pipe. At the same time, the cables from the microphones have been stupidly merged with the pipe. This causes the politician's words to go unheard, while nearby, a sewer is harmlessly diverted a few metres back into itself.

believe it or not most politicians, even the ones you don't like, are far smarter than you or me. Most of these guys have been to the world's best universities and come out with top grades. I don't know how it is in the US but in the the UK a lot of politicians have left high paying jobs (often in the millions) to earn a comparatively low salary because they truly believe in what they're doing. You know who the real 'garbage spewers' are? The moronic electorate who blame absolutely everything on the government. Don't get me wrong, there are some bad politicians out there but there's a lot of good ones as well. This isn't satire, this is mindless hyperbole.
