  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

Yeah, I figured it was probably from the Colbert Report, but I've never actually seen this in video form... only ever this gif. I'd quite like to see the original video. (Googling 'Stephen Colbert Walk', and variants, simply gives me videos of him walking off The View).

Pretty sure this is from back when he was on The Daily Show. It's been around forever, and check out his hair and face: he looks a lot younger and more early 2000s. I also vaguely remember seeing it in a best-of clips review from The Daily Show.

Again, hero worship on Reddit get's out of control. I like(d) Barney Frank but I'm not going to overlook his shortcomings.

TL;DR He did a bad job as the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee durring the subprime mortgage crisis. I know it's a complex issue with many players, and for what it's worth it doesn't seem like any of Frank's actions (or lack of) were motivated by greed or personal gain (although the thousands of dollars in campaign contributions he received from Fannie and Freddie durring that period definitely don't help his image). But still, he is one of the key players that could've had much more positive influence in the mess.

It's not a jpg. The server can send any metadata it wants along with the file on how to parse it. It forces the browser not to guess the MIME type, and in this case, lets an animated .gif be named whatever it wants to be.

I went to the taping of his last show before the fall break, during a do-over break after garbling a line, he made a joke about not blogging about it and letting everyone think he was infallible or some such.
