My chickens have done this a few times. I'll wake up to feed them, and notice their nesting box is tipped over. I lift it up and they're all sitting under there enjoying their new reality of a box (chickens are so easy going). Had to put the nesting box on the floor of the coop so they would stop roosting on the edge.
