Anyone who says this is "nature" or "the circle of life", shove it.

I've seen this video on YT, it was all set up so someone could see another animal die. First the video introduced the rats as pets, playing in one of those little plastic toys. Then he takes close up shots of them while getting dropped into the tank, dangling them around to scare them. Then the turtle rips it apart, all with rock music in the background.

Snapping turtles in captivity don't even need live food. Mice/rats certainly aren't a part of their diet, in fact, it's bad for them because they contain too much calcium in their bones. I see people keep on saying it's "nature", but that's only a BS excuse their mind constructs because either they don't want to believe people actually do this or don't care about the mouse/rat suffering great pain. People who call this "nature" are simply justifying what is essentially a snuff film involving animal cruelty, you can't say this is natural because it was done in a glass enclosure for someone's sick pleasure.
