This is entirely true. My cousin's cat used to act like a little cunt to me all the time because she neglected the hell out of it. The little fucker would claw and bite me if I tried to pet him, he never spoke or purred, EVER. Didn't sit in laps, none of that shit.

Then my aunt takes him in, and now he's incredibly loving, purrs, speaks, loves to sit in people's laps, and is generally awesome. All because my aunt gives him attention and takes care of him.
