Even better when reposted.

Genuine question: Did you ever figure something out, independently, without any assistance, only to discover that someone else had the same idea? I'm a law student and, after reading several cases regarding negligent misrepresentation and pure economic loss doctrine (along with the "attack on the citadel of privity") I came up with an idea about line between contracts and business torts. Turns out Texas and about 25 other states already figured it out. It was sad that someone came up with idea before I did, but it still felt good to come up with it. That analogy isn't perfect, because, while I did search Reddit for this image before I posted it (and didn't find it), I didn't make the image. I found it on another site. Nonetheless, I think that happens too often. Someone has an idea, genuinely original to them, only to find out that someone else has already had it. Those are still reposts, but at least they're honest reposts. BTW, I like your name. Bruce Campbell is the shit. I used to watch that show on Saturday mornings even before I knew what evil dead was.

Your example is an idea you had. Commendable.
This is a picture you found. On the internet.

Sorry I realize I was being a bit of a dick complaining about a repost. It goes against reddiquette. So is using imgur instead of link to the original site since they might depend on advertising revenue. As a lawyer to be I'm glad you appreciate the value of research. Other than searching Reddit, Tineye and Google image search is a good search point if you want to verify the source along with know your meme site.
