This has been posted many times, and every time someone complains that it is animal cruelty, without knowing what is going on and assumes the bear is being tortured.

So for the ignorant generalizations, here's what's going on.

This is a show called 동물농장(Animal Farm) which has been airing in S. Korea for many years and it is still airing to this day. This program is fully dedicated to animals and shows heart warming stories about animals around the world. In this episode, there was a zoo born cub bear that was planned to be released in the wild after it was capable to survive alone. The only problem was that since it was nourished by humans it had no idea of the wild or different animals (such as the cub lion), which is why the cub was so frightened. This was a process to make it aware of other species and train it to survive in the wild. It was NOT any kind of entertainment for an audience, and S. Korea would never show any kind of those cruel acts on public TV.

So if you don't know what is actually going on don't make assumptions.
