I do a lot of Vocal Percussion currently. Taught myself back in College.

Easiest way when I do a lot of vocal workshops to teach people is this sentence.

"Boom sip a cup a the cup - cup boom cup tssss"

Take out the vowels now when you say it.

Should phonetically sound like this:

buuh sih pi kuh a ta kuh - kuh buuh kuh

Warp it until you're able to fill it with more high hats, kicks, etc.

as a beatboxer for many years i will say there is no such thing as a beatboxing 101 or a "how to beatbox". proper vocal percussion requires years of practice and subsequently exercising muscles in your mouth that are otherwise not used to nearly the same effect. a person who hasnt been really trying for years will PHYSICALLY not be able to produce the vast majority of sounds many beatboxers use. unless you wanna sound like a total doofus. beatboxers eat pussy better than normal people.
