I would've taken the cake for the "huge parenting fail." When my daughter was born, and it was time to cut the cord, I grabbed the scissors from the nurse and was about to snip the cord when all of a sudden my daughter reached out and grabbed the cord exactly where I was going to cut. If I hadn't stopped in time I would've cut my daughters finger off.

It's from "One Born Every Minute" or something like that, US tv show where they put cameras in every corner of a maternity ward. They played this clip in every freaking promo for the show 90 times a day and I would stare like an eagle every time to see if it hit the baby in the face. So thanks for the post, I can stop!
