My wife and I rehabilitated cats in the past and it is a very tricky business. I would recommend you find the nearest wildlife rehabilitation center to you and give them a call. HOWEVER from the picture you have posted this cat looks like it may have Downs. When you call the wildlife center ask them what their policy is for non-releasable animals(a Downs baby would be considered such). Many rehabilitation centers will euthanize non-releasable animals which completely defeats the purpose of you trying to save it, and really is just horrible. Down's cats can live long and healthy lives(10+ years) and are absolutely sweet critters. If the rehabbers near you euthanize them then I would recommend you go here http://thekittyboard.com and post on the emergency forums there about the baby you found. This emergency forum is monitored constantly with many willing rehabbers who will call you to help out. There are also always many rehabbers looking to keep a non-releasable cat as a companion. They will give it an extremely loving home and a wonderful life. Lastly if you decide you absolutely want to raise it yourself and no one else can convince you other wise the board I linked above is a WONDERFUL resource for raising cats and the people there are all great. They will help you with whatever you need. Since you said the cat farted in your general direction the situation seems a bit more dire than you think. Baby cats are known to only fart on humans when they are starving and think they have no other options, thus the nearest friendly entity they find they tend to fart on in the hopes they will feed and take care of them. So Please do the following if you can: 1. Post on the board I linked above describing all that happened as well as including some pictures, if you need help with this or want me to do it for you I am more than willing. 2. Find domestic cat rehabbers in your area and call around asking about what I mentioned above. 3. Keep the baby warm and the people on that board will advise you as far as what is good to feed it, the diet for a cat is immensely important when they are young as they are prone to MBD from a lack of calcium.
