    Hi. Question for Ms. Bellamy. In episode 2F09, when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a... (sniggering) magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

        If you look closely, it appears to be some sort of pump-action double-barrel shotgun. Other times Moe uses a shotgun, it appears with a pump. Quite odd.

                When grading accuracies on the internets, what counts for me is: Was the original tone and meaning captured in the from-memory quote? Did I get the same feeling as I did when watching the original clip? Word order or exact phrases used aren't that important. But Level_100_Charizard even excelled at that. It's a very good fake quote, easily among the best I've ever graded. Right up there with the famous "Come with me, if you want to stay alive!" posted by snot_eater8 back in 1999.

                At least he didn't pump it. Number 1 on my list of irrational cartoon irks. Simpsons (Moe in particular) is an especially bad offender in this case.                 Not really. Most often the offenders are using it for dramatic reasons. The sounds of a shotgun being pumped or a pistol being cocked is used quite liberally through media almost as a dramatic punctuation. It's ridiculous.

In the UK, Channel 4 remove virtually everything that promotes guns in any way - this is particularly noticeable at the end of the episode The Cartridge Family, where Marge decides to keep the handgun rather than throwing it away. In the Channel 4 version, the episode abruptly ends at the point where she opens the bin.

                          it sorta looks like Moe puts down a ward to silence at first, the arm flapping is his attack speed burst as he comes out of invis and of course he ends by using his ult to snipe the guy as he gets away.
