  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

    Make sure the video has loaded all the way, that you clicked inside the video before doing it, and that the video is playing.

    If that's not it, maybe try a different browser.

    Yeah, it's not working for me either while it worked with the previous bungie jumping video. Just jumps back to the time, then shows loading while it plays, then if i hit another number it waits for the first part to load.

    Keep in mind I let the whole thing play first so that it'd preload. YouTube's gotten really lame lately, my GF is on a slow connection sometimes and tries to pause and preload but it seems youtube doesn't preload at all now.

        Bungee chord is attached to her feet. She was all set to actually do her bungee jump (look at how she is standing and preparing), with the proper equipment attached, and freaked out at the last moment.

        I'm guessing she lived. The guy pushed her off because it was more of a risk to her with her hanging there or trying to come back up. I'm guessing he saw the chord was still positioned fine, and pushed her off.

        After all, she paid them money to bungee jump...

          OK, this isn't a friend. This is the jumpmaster on the Kawarau river bridge in Queenstown, New Zealand.

          Everyone is roped on at the jump site, once you step off the bridge and onto the jump platform.

          This isn't even remotely as cool as the jump titled "Accidental Death". The Accidental Death is the most harrowing bungee jump you can do, and it goes like this: instead of a leg harness with a towel wrapped around your legs, you get a waist harness. The jump crew pulls up the bungee untill only about 4 metres of it are hanging down.

          Then you climb off the platform feet first until you are hanging from the platform by your fingers. When you get to that position, you have to shout out "DON'T LET ME FALL" (and believe me, screaming it is pretty easy!) and then the jump crew come up to start prying your fingers loose!

          After only a few seconds you fall backwards into oblivion - the bridge getting small really really fast - but you have no idea how far you've fallen, and when the bungee kicks in and slows you down it is the sweetest feeling ever.

          Like I said though: harrowing.

                    The reason the instructor flings her out is so that she won't be injured if she falls. You're meant to jump at least a little bit outwards to fall and rise at the correct angle. Many sketchy jumps (for example hanging from the bridge in a weird position like in the .gif) have resulted in the jumper coming back up and striking the structure they jumped from - killing them. This was safety procedure... he could have always pulled her back up but then it was a risk and he's have been risking his own life for the sake of her anxiety, too.

                    It's weird doing something that instinct tells you you shouldn't be doing. I went skydiving, and the instructor was moving me into position, with my legs hanging out of the plane, and my butt off of the ledge (basically being held in the plane by my harness to the instructor). All I could think was, "I'M GOING TO FALL OUT OF THE PLANE!"
