It's funny how the smallest things can satisfy most humans to the point where they lose all wonder and curiosity for the world around them.

It's also very sad that as a result of being satisfied by "GTL"-like activities, they don't ever stop to think of all the science behind everything they do. If it weren't for "nerds" and "geeks" like Hawking (and of course Newton, Einstein, and Tesla, to name a few) they wouldn't be able to do 99% of everything they take for granted.
